From the M3 north, exit junction 8 and take A303 to Andover.  After about 13 miles take A342 signposted Marlborough and Devizes and keep on this road until you reach Luggershall. In the middle of Luggershall turn right, still keeping on the A342.  After approx 2 miles turn right onto the A346 to Collingbourne Ducis.  At mini roundabout take the A338 to Burbage (see below).

From the M3 south, exit junction 9 and take the A34 towards Newbury.  After about 8 miles, take the A303 to Andover.  After a further 8 miles take the A342 as above to Burbage (see below).

From the M4 east, exit junction 14 and take the A338 to Hungerford and continue on for further 10 miles to Burbage (see below).

From Burbage roundabout exit left onto the B3087 to Pewsey.  Drive through Easton Royal and Milton Lilbourne. Drive past the signpost to New Mill and about half a mile further on turn right to Milkhouse Water. After about quarter of a mile, go over the railway bridge, down the hill, over another (flat) bridge and almost immediately turn right at the end of the hedge down unmarked road. (If you miss this turning you will be going up another hill and over the canal bridge so turn around when you can). Entrance to Willowbank Lodges is about 50m further down on the right hand side by the small layby with the red post box.  

From the M4 west, exit junction 15 and take the A346 to Marlborough. Coming down the hill into Marlborough go over the mini roundabout and straight until you reach a pair of mini roundabouts. Turn right down George Lane and at the end turn left on the A345 to Pewsey. After about 6 miles, drive into the village, past the fire station on the left hand side and immediately after, at the King Alfred statue, turn left into the High Street (B3087) signposted Burbage. Proceed out of the village and up the hill and after about quarter of a mile turn left, signposted to Milkhouse Water. After about quarter of a mile, go over the railway bridge, down the hill, over another (flat) bridge and almost immediately turn right at the end of the hedge down an unmarked road. From Salisbury (A345) drive into Pewsey and turn right at the King Alfred statue into the High Street (B3087) signposted to Burbage and follow the directions as above.

RAILWAY STATIONS

Pewsey station (1.7 miles) has a fast service to London (1hr 10mins) or the West Country.  The station has a ticket machine where tickets can be purchased prior to the journey or tickets can be purchased online and collected from the machine anytime before departure. Pewsey station also has a ticket office and a waiting room on each platform. There is a paying car park.

Great Bedwyn station (9 miles) is a slower but generally cheaper service to London, stopping at many more towns and villages on the way.  Has no ticket office or machine – tickets can be bought from Pewsey station or on the train. There is a small (free) car park – you may need to park in the village.
