1 Bedroom Cabins: River Birch and Heron's Nest

These cabins are spacious even though they only have one bedroom and have the same level of comfort as the larger ones.  The cabins have been built back to back with verandas facing in opposite directions with one having lovely views of the lake (River Birch) and the other overlooking the pretty stream and benefiting from the evening sun (Heron’s Nest). The cabins are accessed by two steps with handrail onto the veranda to the French doors which open directly into the open plan living room.

The table and chairs are in the kitchen area next to the large window, so plenty of light to read the paper at breakfast time (if you are not having an al fresco breakfast on the veranda) or if you are working on your laptop.  The sitting areas are very comfortably furnished with a sofa and armchair, cushions, a rug, coffee tables, lamps and of course the large flat screen TV.

From the living room, a door leads directly into a generous bedroom with a super-king size bed with bedside tables and lamps, wardrobe and chest of drawers.  The bed may be divided into twin beds if requested.  The en-suite bathroom is large, with a big shower bath, loo with shelving over and pedestal basin with large mirror, light and shaving point. There are two cupboards in the bathroom – one containing the immersion heater and the other is the utility cupboard for the guests’ use.  There is space above the cupboard to store suitcases or anything else needed to be kept out of the way for the duration of the stay.
